Upon arriving at Descanso Serrano in the quaint town of Manteigas, we were greeted by a serene atmosphere that immediately set the tone for a relaxing retreat. Our triple room, although modest in size, was impeccably clean and boasted a balcony offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. The absence of air conditioning was not an issue, as the mountain breeze provided a cool respite during the evenings. The complimentary Wi-Fi allowed us to stay connected, while the lack of a flat-screen TV encouraged us to embrace the tranquility of the surroundings. The personal touch of the family-run establishment, coupled with the picturesque setting, truly makes for a memorable stay that transcends luxury. For those seeking a serene escape from the hustle and bustle, Descanso Serrano offers a charming retreat at a reasonable cost.
